IPC International Plc is based on a small team of pharmaceutical experts, dealmakers and advisors:
Claus Juan Møller-San Pedro, M.D., Ph.D., Operating Chairman
Dr. Møller has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry and was a confounder of the largest European biotech company, Genmab A/S, in 1999. He served as Executive VP and COO and was instrumental in building the company from inception to the current valuation of approximately USD 3 billion. Dr Møller left Genmab in the summer of 2008 to concentrate on the development of the IPC Group. Previous posts include Executive Vice President and Chief Medical and Operating Officer of Nasdaq traded Oxigene, Inc., President of IPC-Nordic A/S, and Medical Director for Synthélabo Scandinavia A/S. Dr. Møller has been the Chairman of the board of IPC since 2001. He received his M.D. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Copenhagen. As senior manager, Dr. Møller has been directly involved in two IPO’s and numerous additional financing rounds/road shows, raising a total of over USD 500 million for the companies he has been working for.
Jan Andersen, Ph.D., CEO
Dr. Andersen is an entrepreneur and private investor with his main focus on the Biotech sector. He is a co-founder of IPC Group of Companies. Over the years Dr Andersen has gained extensive knowledge of biotech issues and related businesses. He has developed a number of successful businesses and completed several major transactions including creations of successful corporate partnerships. Dr Andersen has published numerous papers on international economic issues based on his broad experience in capital markets and other financial activities. Dr Andersen has lectured in international economic issues both in Stanford and Copenhagen Universities.
Martin Niclasen, CFO
Mr. Niclasen has extensive experience within the financial sector from positions in leading Nordic investment banks and latest as head of Nordic Area within the investment firm FL Group
